Ingredients To Make Graham Crackers

  • Almond flour or cashew flour – Store bought works well or make your own by placing raw almonds or raw cashews in a high speed blender.
  • Arrowroot
  • Honey
  • Coconut oil – If you aren’t keen on a slight coconut taste choose unflavored coconut oil

Equipment

  • Food processor
  • Rolling pin
  • Cookie sheet
  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Cut the rolled dough into 2.5 inch squares.  Poke holes into the surface (to form the look of store bought graham crackers if you like).
  • Bake for 6-7 minutes on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Cool for 1 hour, then serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Storage

These paleo graham crackers will keep for a week in an airtight container on the kitchen counter. I haven’t frozen them so if you do let me know how they taste once your defrost them.

Pro Tips

Here are a few things you can do to make sure your paleo graham crackers turn out every time.

  • To further “crisp” the crackers without more browning, dry overnight in a food dehydrator on low. If you don’t have a dehydrator you can place them in the oven at 200°F for a few hours. Check them for crispiness after an hour or two.
  • Make sure to roll the dough out thinly and evenly so all the crackers bake at the same pace. Using a rolling pin helps with this step.
  • Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into squares.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon for more flavor.
