Skin Care - Feed Your Skin

Brand name creams as well as dermatologist’s formulated creams, the plastic surgeon’s miracle creams and serums, I have tried them all. 

When dark patches appeared on my face, it was shocking! Every dermatologist or plastic surgeon I consulted with wanted me to use more of the same ingredients, namely hydroquinone, and of a higher concentration all the time. I was NOT going to ruin my skin any further.

I turned down all of their prescribed creams. 

I am a nutritionist and I woke up to the realization that “these are chemicals that I am using on my skin. Why am I using synthetic chemicals?” 

The inner herbalist, nutritionist, and chemist in me was triggered. While taking more courses at the herbal school, and going for my master’s in nutrition, I started making my own skin care products with what I know are the most nourishing ingredients: oils, and herbs for the skin. 

✽ It is like having farm to table food, versus having very processed or synthetically made food! Once you KNOW, there is no going back. I want the same for my skin. 

✽ Every herb, flower, or blossom from my garden is picked delicately, making sure every leaflet is in perfect shape, has no blemishes or spots and using my bacteriology skills to avoid any undesired bacteria to deliver the purest products possible.
