Why You’ll Love This Blender Detox Soup Recipe

  • Chock full of nutrients
  • Easy to prepare

Ingredients To Make Blender Detox Soup

Though there are quite a few ingredients to make this soup you’ll find it comes together easily. Choose organic vegetables if possible.

  • Avocado – this provides healthy fats and fiber
  • Carrot – this also provides fiber and Vitamin C
  • Miso paste – I used white miso paste to add some flavor and saltiness. Miso is a complete source of protein and rich in a variety of nutrients and beneficial plant compounds.
  • Cilantro – I used just the leaves which are great for supporting detox pathways and reducing the risk of heart disease, and diabetes as well as increasing energy.
  • Kale – stems removed, adds fiber, vitamin K, and antioxidants.
  • Lemon – I juiced one lemon, do not use bottled lemon juice. Lemon juice adds flavor and Vitamin C as well.
  • Dulse – any kind of seaweed will work; wakame or kombu sea vegetables. Sea vegetables are an excellent source of iodine and vitamin K. They are a very good source of folate and magnesium, and they are a good source of calcium, iron, and tryptophan.
  • Ginger – I used fresh ginger – do not use bottled ginger. Ginger is anti-inflammatory, helps our bodies digest, and adds a nice flavor.
  • Garlic – I used freshly chopped garlic, do not use bottled garlic. Garlic also adds flavor and supports our immune system.
  • Broccoli, pea, or sunflower sprouts – these add flavor and fiber along with loads of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
  • Hemp hearts- protein powerhouses and the main source of protein for this nutrient dense soup
  • Filtered water or green tea – I used water or green tea to ensure the soup gets its soup-like texture. Green tea is anti-inflammatory and also adds some flavor.
  • Flax seed oil – Flax seed oil adds some healthy Omega 3 fats and also helps with digestion.
