Ingredients
 

Dry Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter, melted look for grass fed butter, or use ghee, tallow, avocado oil, olive oil or coconut oil
  • ½ c milk of choice unsweetened nut milk or full fat dairy milk both work well in this recipe
  • 2 large eggs look for pastured eggs when possible

Filling Ingredients

  • cup cheese, shredded (I use Manchego)
  • 1 cup cooked broccoli, chopped
  • ½ cup cooked sausage

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400℉
  • Add almond flour, lupin flour, arrowroot, sea salt, baking soda, and baking powder to a medium size mixing bowl and mix well.
  • To the flour mixture, add butter, eggs, and milk. Mix well using a fork or spatula.
  • Fold the cheese, cooked crumbled sausage, and cooked and chopped broccoli to the dough.
  • Divide the dough into 6 muffin compartments or roll and shape by hand and bake on a cookie sheet (either method will work!)
  • Enjoy these biscuits warm with grass fed butter!
  • Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
