Hamburger Buns

If you've always shied away from making your own buns thinking it was way too complicated, you'll find this hamburger bun recipe very easy to follow and it only requires a few basic ingredients. No proofing or rising required with these buns.

Equipment
Ingredients
- 2½ cups almond flour
- ¼ cup arrowroot
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp coconut oil ghee, or butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- ¼ cup greek yogurt full fat
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp melted butter to brush on top
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine almond flour, arrowroot, baking soda, baking powder, salt, coconut oil, honey, yogurt, and eggs in a food processor. Pulse together until well incorporated.
- Form “buns” using your hands and line up on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Brush the buns with the melted butter.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely, then slice in half to form hamburger buns.
