Ingredients
 

  • 2 ½ cups dried elderberrie
  • 5 cups water
  • 3 tsp dried ginger
  • 3 cinnamon sticks

Instructions
 

  • Bring the mixture to a boil and then lower heat and simmer 30 minutes. Remove syrup from heat and allow to cool for another 30 minutes. Strain out cinnamon sticks and elderberries.

Serving suggestions: a couple tablespoons in sparkling water with a slice of lemon
