Flourless Fudge Brownie in a Mug

I created this flourless fudge brownie in a mug for Levels Health to be nutrient dense and to also be blood sugar friendly. I hope you enjoy this decadent, easy treat!

Equipment

Ingredients
 

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder (unsweetened)
  • 2 tbsp chocolate protein powder
  • 3 tbsp allulose or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 3 tbsp nut butter (natural, no added sugar or oils)
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 5 tbsp milk of choice (if using nut milk, be sure it is unsweetened)

Instructions
 

  • Mix dry ingredients together in a small bowl 
  • Mix together nut butter, coconut oil and milk
  • Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well
  • Pour the batter into a mug and microwave for one minute. It will be a pudding-like consistency.
  • Allow your brownie to cool before eating as the center will be very hot. Enjoy this fudgy, moist brownie mug cake!

Notes

My glucose response to this flourless fudge brownie mug cake was totally level- a good combination of fat, fiber and protein.
