Pesto Pasta with Peas

This flavorful, easy pesto pasta with peas is the perfect potluck contribution for your next summer barbecue. Make it with lupini bean pasta to be assured of a level glucose response!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 package Chef's Kiss lupini bean pasta use code BETH20 to save 20%
  • 1 16 ounce bag frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp olive or avocado oil
  • 5 tbsp homemade pesto
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil torn or chopped
  • Maldon sea salt
  • black pepper or aleppo pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Boil pasta according to package instructions. Add oil to skillet and warm the frozen peas. Drain pasta and toss with 5 tablespoons of pesto.
  • Toss in warmed peas, fresh basil and any oil from the pan. Finish with Maldon sea salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
