8 colorful ice pops on a bed of ice

Homemade Ice Pops: just real fruit and no refined sugar!

Beth Bollinger of Nest Wellness
These homemade ice pops (or ice poles as they're called in some parts of the world) are easy to make with real food ingredients, are completely customizable and have no refined sugar! Enjoy these icy treats all summer long and avoid the added sugars, corn syrup and artificial dyes in most store bought ice pops. I created these healthy ice pops for grown-ups but your kids will love them too!

Making your ice pops: each of these ice pop recipes will make 4-5 ice pops

  • Choose which ice pop you will make first and add all of the ingredients to a blender
  • Blend well and taste the mixture- at this point you can customize to your liking
  • Some of the ice pop "blends" with be thicker and some will be thinner. The ice pops with a sparkling water base will be icier once frozen and the recipes that include coconut milk or yogurt will be more like cream pops
  • Using the small funnel that comes in the pack of ice pop tubes, pour the blended mix into the tube up to the "fill" line
  • Freeze until solid- 3 hours or overnight
  • Enjoy!
