This decadent, dairy-free, vegan chocolate "milk" is so creamy and delicious. Traditional hot cocoa or chocolate milk is loaded with sugar. You can feel good about serving this treat sweetened with dates. Serve cold or as hot cocoa with a few drops of peppermint essential oil. Makes a delicious healthy "mocha" coffee too!
½ cup unsalted, raw cashews
2 TBS cacao powder
2 cups filtered water
Place all ingredients into a blender. Puree on high until well combined.
Serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. If you've kept it in the refrigerator, shake or stir before use.
